I am writing to you regarding the pleasant experience my wife and I have had
purchasing a vehicle from West Riding Toyota.
We called originally in early June. We were introduced to Glyn Parker who
answered all our questions to our satisfaction. We requested a test drive and Glyn duly
organised this later that week at a mutually convenient date and time. He arrived at our
home at the pre arranged time with a clean demonstration car. We were very impressed
with the vehicle and we decided to order a car.
We then discovered that the Rav4 was available on the Motability scheme and
explained to Glyn that we were interested in purchasing the car through the scheme.
Glyn then passed us on to Barry Tottie your Motability specialist.
Barry took us through all the options and we decided to order the car at that
time on the Motability scheme. We were given a delivery date just two weeks later. This
was rather quicker than we had expected but we were delighted as this fitted in well
with our holiday plans. Unfortunately we had not received a Retention Certificate from
DVLA for our cherished plate. We were reassured that the car would be registered
ready for the delivery date and that the cherished plate could be changed as soon as the
Retention certificate arrived. Barry said that when the certificate arrived we could bring
it down to the show room and they would take it over to Leeds DVLA and get the
change of registration for us. This was completed in a very short time and we had our
cherished plate for our holidays.
In Forty years of buying new vehicles I have never received such service and
attention to detail, long may it continue.
